With the 2019 season approaching quicker than ever, the elite of the elite prepare to drop the clutch as the tapes go up. After a highly competitive 2018, some are looking for revenge, some are looking to continue their glory but all are looking to produce a season of a lifetime in the Speedway Grand Prix series. So who will be lining up at the tapes this season?

#222 Artem Laguta RUS

#333 Janusz Kolodziej POL

#692 Patryk Dudek POL

Last season saw Tai Woffinden shoot his shot from the very first round, but his competitors made it far from easy to run away with the trophy and leave that number one spot out of reach. Bartosz Zmarzlik will confidently be listed as one of the favourites this year, along with bronze medallist Freddie Lindgren. Leon Madsen also enters the competition after a dominant European Championship last year and will be looking to show his class on the world stage. However, we must not fail to mention the experienced, Greg Hancock, who will most certainly not take the GP’s lightly and neither will the rest of the field. Will Tai reach his goal and maintain the crown, or will a new champion take the top box in Torun? The first Grand Prix takes place on Saturday 18th May.
