ROCKING UP IN SEPANG
The penultimate race of the season haunts the infamous paddock and its viewers, as MotoGP head to Sepang, Malaysia, to set the stage for the 2018 season showdown.
Although Marc Marquez has clinched this seasons World Championship, it doesn’t stop him from creating drama on the track. As the race for second place continues, Marquez is still putting in fast laps and showing he can beat his rivals whatever the situation -much like Maverick Viñales. The Yamaha Team ended their drought last time out, so can he carry on the glory for the remainder of the season? Maybe Valentino Rossi will take his first win in 26 races? Can Jorge Lorenzo fight back and prove his fitness isn’t an issue to finish the season off strong?
It’s last chance time in Moto2, as Miguel Oliveira is still holding onto the title by a thread when Bagnaia keeps setting the boundaries higher and higher. “Pecco” only needs to score 15 points to take home the trophy, providing Oliveira wins in Sepang and Valencia. But will team orders come into play? Can VR46 set up a master plan with Luca Marini to hold off the KTM rider? Will Aki Ajo be able to out-smart the young team with all his experience to push Miguel further to the top?
In Moto3, the conquest continues full of nail-biting action and many crucial crashes. Jorge Martin sits only 12 points ahead of Bezzecchi, but it’s not only a two horse race anymore. Fabio Di Giannantonio has come back into play as he picks up the pieces to be only 8 points behind second place. Which way will the championship turn this weekend at the hot and humid Sepang International Circuit?
