BRIT U21 FINAL APPROACHES
The annual British Under 21 Final approaches and Robert Lambert is looking to retain his crown from 2018.
Last week, the two Semi-Final’s took place in order to complete the line-up, with the top three from each Semi’s going through. In Semi-Final 1, Ryan Kinsley, Jordan Palin and Anders Rowe took the top three spots at the Isle of Wight and secured their spot. Whereas, in Semi-Final 2, Jason Edwards, Luke Harris and Harry McGurk join the seeded ten after the heartbreak of Henry Atkins who was on a maximum until his bike broke down at his home track, Somerset.
They join the privileged seeded riders: Robert Lambert, Dan Bewley, Zach Wajtknecht, Nathan Greaves, Jack Smith, Jack Thomas, Drew Kemp, Leon Flint, Tom Brennan and Kyle Bickley. Whilst many are expecting big things from big British stars Lambert and Bewley, some may also be looking at the apparent up and coming talent of the youngsters. Kemp, Flint, Brennan and Bickley will be looking to prove to the British bosses that they are not to be overlooked despite their lack of experience.
Last year Lambert took the box ahead of Connor Mountain and Nathan Greaves, but with Mountain moving past the age limit and Greaves only riding for one team this season, could this be the perfect opportunity for another lucky Brit to put their face on the scene?
