Tony Arbolino snatched his second victory of the season on the line ahead of fellow Italian, Lorenzo Dalla Porta, in the Moto3 DutchGP.

As the lines went out the carnage commenced and instantly the fight for the win for feisty. All the riders scrapped in one massive group which was originally headed by poleman, Niccolo Antonelli. Riders seeded through from way down the pack to be amongst the front runners with the Assen circuit producing the ideal track for racing.

Championship contender, Jaume Masia, along with previous winner Kaito Toba and fellow Japanese rider Tatsuki Suzuki all fell short of a race finish and were three of many to add a DNF to their list of results in a hectic race.

By the last lap, the battle for the win was between Arbolino and Dalla Porta, with Arbolino getting the better of the Leopard rider for the win. Jakub Kornfeil completed the podium ahead of Gabriel Rodrigo and John McPhee.
